Short project description
In 2021, GIZ and MICLAT launched their national Green Municipalities project to support Algerian cities in improving their energy management. IDE-E provided strategic advice to the Ministry and GIZ in the preparation and implementation of the programme.
The support provided by IDE-E includes project design assistance, a pre-feasibility study for the deployment of a municipal energy monitoring management tool, and a preliminary study for the creation of a network of Algerian municipalities committed to the energy transition.
